Urgent Care Visit
Trigger Point Injections contain a combination of an anesthetic called lidocaine and sterile normal saline. The injections are administered into a muscle that is spasmodic, also called "a knot" in the muscle. These injections are used to relieve pain, stiffness, and inflammation at the trigger points and surrounding areas, thereby improving mobility.
